As an autism family, one thing we have come to realize is that our son loves to use his tablet. However, he will often drive up the sound to hear what is going on over top of everyone else. There are numerous reasons for this. It increases his sensory input, having numerous sources of sound can cause his sensory issues. Like all kids, his stuff has to have volume priority over everyone else. We have tried for years to find solutions that worked. He used cheap Bluetooth headphones that lasted a couple of weeks and usually died a couple hours after he started wearing them. We have even tried to use traditional headphones, but he chews the wires going through a new set every week or two.
Purosound designs their headphones with children in mind, utilizing the 85dB target to create a solid line of products. They are marketed at providing children a quality headphone without the high volume that comes with standard headphones.
